Best Cell Phones
2012-2013
Cell phones have really come a
long way. They started out as mobile car phones which were big, bulky and expensive. Portable
phones, when they first hit the market, weighed up wards of three pounds and were only useful
when near the antennae that was mounted on the back of the car.
Talking on a cell phone thirty
years ago when they first became popular ran about $4 per minute so they were typically used by
only very important people that had business to conduct that could support the $4 per minute
phone calls.

Today cell phones are everywhere. Many people have
opted out of having a land line and use their cell phone as their primary phone now. Cell phones can do just
about everything you need them to do except bring you coffee in the morning which I am sure is on the
horizon.
Which Phone is the Best
Hands down the best cell phones of 2012-2013 are
going to be phones that are “smart”. Smart phones are able to get online, scan items, deposit your checks in the
bank for you and do everything but the dishes. Phones have really come along way and will only improve in the
years to come.
The Iphone ushered in the age of the smart phone,
oh sure we had Blackberry’s but the Iphone blew us all away. The Iphone became the model every other phone was
compared to. Here are just a few of the options of the Iphone 5:
·
iOS 5:Its user interface is based on the concept of direct manipulation and multi-touch
gestures.
· iMessage: It is the software designed by
Apple to compete with Blackberry Messenger. This would be for the Smartphone messaging
services.
· iCloud: The new upgrade will automatically
sync with iCloud which will allow the users to share photos, apps and other documents.
· A5 Processor: This 5th generation phone will
be powered by an A5 Processor.
· 8mp Camera: The phone will feature a 8mp
camera which will be able to capture 3D picture.
· Display and Resolution: The screen size
could be 4 inches with higher screen resolution. The iPhone 5 is supposed to be slightly wider and thinner in
compare to its predecessors.
· Other Features: The iPhone 5 will feature
sim-less design with 2 to 3 internal antennas for CDMA and GSM compatibility.
But should the Iphone be considered the best cell
phone of 2012-2013?
The Line Up
For 2012, the line up to make it to the best list
is a tough one to choose from. This is what the best list is going to look like for 2012:
- Apple Iphone 4 is the number one pick for the
best cell phones 2012. There is no explanation necessary it is the leader of the pack and still the phone
that sets the standard for what a smart phone should do.
- HTC puts out a great android phone called the
EVO that will for sure make the list.
- Samsung Infuse is another sure fire hit for
2012. Samsung has been in the cell phone business for a long time the Infuse really takes the cake for one
of their top models!
- LG Revolution. LG is pretty well known for
making affordable cell phones and the Revolution does its job of proving that LG is one of the most
affordable phone manufacturers out there.
- Blackberry Bold a personal favorite just
because it is easy to use and gets the job done without all the multimedia that I don’t need. Blackberry is probably the first “smart” phone but it
is geared toward a more business minded crowd.
The best cell phones of
2012 are going to offer more of what they already offer; faster speeds, better apps and more multimedia
options. Before making any purchase, do some research online and read a few customer reviews.
